Signed up for the Metric Century at Cycle Fest. The route went up 1000 Palms Canyon, 5 miles up hill. Temp hit the mid to high 90's. Got up the hill but it drained all the energy out of me. Started cramping when I got down to the flat part and cut the ride short. Only did 50 miles. Totally whipped at the end.
